In my opinion, Neutral Milk Hotel has one great album. And I think that album is the greatest album of all time. But The Decemberists have four great albums, plus all the other great songs that aren't on albums, plus they give great shows, plus they are still around. That's why I'm going with Decemberists on this one.

Amazing, I took back about 40 records, my shoulder still aches from carrying them all the way through Hartsfeld-Jackson (it's a hell of a long walk from getting off the plane to finally getting to passport control, I'd say about 10 minutes, and then another 10 minutes to getting baggage and being out, and there was no way I was putting them in checked luggage, so I had to carry them).
Some really good ones too, lots of ska and classic rock, as well as some new indie-rock singles.
I'll be uploading the CDs I got as soon as I get a chance.
