changes at Rapidshare
The good news first ... they did away with the stupid captchas. Now you don't have to strain to figure out what those curvy numbers and letters are. And that change came just as i was getting good at the cat & dog thing. The bad news is .... since they are making it so easy for the freeloaders, errr nonpaying downloaders, they have limited the speed to 50kps. Yes, just 50, not 500. It took me 23.52 minutes to download a file that before would take less than 2 minutes! I'm still not becoming a paying member, but I am definitely going to use a download manager from now on.

All the more reason to use Mediafire and Megaupload.

yeah, but when you find links online (and fulltext and I are link scavengers) rapidshare is still the standard. It may change if dl speed drops this slow...
