Does anyone listen to streaming music?
or do you mostly rely on downloads and records purchased? online radio, mixtapes, or ipod playlists? The news this week is Yahoo got knocked off -

i stream radio via station website or itunes. i've never really ventured into the type of sites/players you are referring to.

They are popular because they can be personalized to your taste, and can be shared with friends, etc. I just crank up the media player with some albums to suit the mood.

I listen to live365 on occasion.... it's got some good stations..
