Introduce yourself!
Well, since we are all part of a little club here, guess we should get to know each other! Say 'ello... Tell us a little something about yourself! :D

mesmerized- 03-03-2008

Hello everyone. I guess I'll just go with a boring introduction. My name is Emily; I live in Northern California. I discovered Tsuru's blog a few months ago and decided to join this little group  hmm not much else to say. Music pretty much keeps me alive and sane. I won't go listing all the bands I like, but here are a few: Mew, Sigur Ros, The Knife, Architecture in Helsinki, Beirut, Mum, Oasis, Stars... the list goes on. I also like drinking tea and dancing. Not at the same time though; that would be messy. Anyway, I'm rambling again. It's nice to be here, and I hope to meet the lot of you soon :)

Welcome Emily! I think with a little patience and love, we could have ourselves a quirky & quaint little community here. Now, I have been known to boogie with a hot cup o' joe, dangerous for sure, but it fuels my soul! ;)

What happening I am Lysol/ Eric from Seattle WA... I discovered Tsuru's blog and he has great taste in music so we have been sharing recommendations! I love Seattle bands so I am always partial to my Sub Pop locals! It is great to see a nice new forum!

My name is James and I'm from Chicago. I've been a huge fan of Tsuru since the first vinyl rip, Loney, Dear's Loney, Noir. Which ended up being my favorite album of the year. So I knew I had to join this awesome vinyl preservation society.

Welcome welcome!!! But watch out, you guys are giving me an ego! Part of my thing is keeping it realz!!! lol. :D

KiDG- 03-04-2008

My name is KiDG aka Rob. I'm from Singapore (yes, the place where they ban chewing gum) & I'm Asian. Well, Chinese to be precise. I've been diggin' music since 1987, where my first cassette was a pirated copy of Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet (hey, it's even got bonus tracks from Glass Tiger). I basically like all sorts of stuff, esp those with mind-bending qualities. Tried my hand at mash-ups but failed miserably. I've got two kids. Music keeps me sane. Ha...

i'm carie. i live 45 minutes north of San Francisco in beautiful Sonoma County. i am married with one adorable son (he's 15 months old). almost all of my vinyl pre-dates 1990, so if you are up for nostalgia, i'll be posting some oldies. you'll be seeing stuff like The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Smiths, R.E.M., The Specials... these days, my favorite bands are Arcade Fire, Sunset Rubdown, Wolf Parade, Clinic, TV on the Radio, Doves, The Whiskers, The National etc etc. music is the soundtrack to my life. i first came across tsuru on the UKK forum and we've been friends ever since we discovered a mutual love of vinyl and similar tastes in music. also, his blog is super sweet.

soon as i figure out sendspace or rapidshare, i'd like to start posting music so i can give back a little. I recommend megaupload too, it's pretty easy to use, also mediashare ain't so bad.
