i'm assuming rabney's excluding me with the 'everyone here seems very friendly and have a great taste in music' bit . he simply doesn't appreciate britpop, that's all.

Hi, kovski here... an east coast kid, living in Boston/NY... also an avid lurker, but everyone knows you can't lurk forever, right? These forums are a bit of a guilty pleasure. Such a flood of great musicalness has especially kept me alive while applying to college (I'll be studying illustration at the School of Visual Arts next fall).
I tend to spend hours browsing all the links... so now that I'm done with college apps, maybe I can give back a bit! Thanks to everyone who contributes so much. I've never felt such a compelling urge to contribute to a forum before :)
Welcome to the forum, kuwakovski (:
I've been finishing up with college applications as well which is why I haven't been posting so much. But anyway, I look forward to your posts (and maybe some of your illustrations?!)

Thanks you two, I feel at home already ;)
Ahhh college apps, so intense! I never thought I'd make it through... Good luck finishing, feels great to finally toss them in the mail!!
ahahahaa, I guess I might just have to dig up some art... but I'll have to get up the nerve first. ;)

Im not sure if this thread is still that active but it'd be rude of me not to introduce myself to you fine people right!?
My name is Nick, I'm a 22yo Photography Student from Sydney. Someone on here already has said that music is the sound track to their life, and im sure thats how it is for most here but I'd like for the record to show that I fit into that catergory.
So I guess my all time albums are a little cliche but cliches are born from somewhere right? Like Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots and In An Aeroplane Over The Sea, also Big Star #3, most Kinks stuff, anything Tribe. Musically, it pretty much goes Indie/Folk, Hip Hop and Soul. When im talking hip hop though im talking mostly old school East Coast stuff with the occasional West Coast cruiser thrown in.
Aside from all that mostly you could find me riding my fixed gear down to the beach for a surf or watching movies/ reading literature or conceiving inconceivable film and photo concepts.
I don't care what anyone says about you guys... you're alright.

Bikes, photos, film and music... You'll fit in just fine Pookie. Welcome to the forum.
I'm sure lots of other people have said it too, but I said it here: my music is definitely the soundtrack to my life.
PS This thread is never dead. It's always going to be here for introductions!

might as well introduce myself again. haven't posted in a while
I'm John, teenager living on the east coast of the USA. I've found some great stuff on here, and I'm hoping to break my lurker tendencies when I'm less busy. on that note, anything I can do?
