Mamma Mia!
Saw this yesterday.... and yeah, the story's a bit weak, there's some issues with continuity and what not, but you know what? They are having so much fun in this movie, you really could care less!
Pierce Bronson singing was a hoot! And Meryl Streep was having the time of her life!
Good times & thumbs up!
Today is Dark Knight!

I'm not a fan of ABBA at all, but I have a sentimental/memory-related attachment to Dancing Queen. I'll probably check out a matinee.

I'm not the biggest ABBA fan, but I rec'd my in-laws ABBA collection on vinyl for my birthday (both Canucks, my father-in-law a Swede) and have developed a deeper appreciation for the bubble gum that is ABBA.
The songs sound fresh and new on Mamma Mia, the singers/actors perform pretty good (considering they are not "singers" per se, you know?)
If you have a lady friend, take her along, tsurubride saw it on stage and has many fond ABBA memories.. My 9 year old also enjoyed it!
We were singing "Mamma Mia" the rest of the evening!

What a step down from James Bond...
I have a feeling I'm going to wind up watching this in the future. Ugh.

My fave Pierce Bronson movie is the Thomas Crown Affair. So good.

The Thomas Crown Affair is really good. I prefer it to the Bond films.

The "Sinner Man" scene is classic!

I'm not a Bond fan.
