so after my flood of posts just now, I was thinking, perhaps we should have a forum for 7" single rips and a forum for 12" EPs and LPs? Any agreement, or do we want it all kept in the one room?

I say, one room for now, I loved the flood, keeps us on our toes in that forum. If we grow and get lots of vinyl rips going, to the point where things get lost, then sure.... we'll split it up.

what do you think of the new logo? Go back to the vintage one????

I'm a fan of the new logo, I like it better than the last one, but not as much as the one with the bed and the record on the bedstand. (does anyone know what I'm talking about?)

I've had my sexy lady's hips and foot, with the messy bed and Mr. Ecco's book for a good while (and don't plan on changing the main page at all). But for the club house, thought I'd liven things up a bit. Nothing's set in stone, of course... I like that I have my own photography in my logos, vs. someone elses..... I'll probably keep on tinkerin' though...

So last night I was thinking about this place (all dark and full of music) and how it reminds me of the Music Listening Lounge I had at the University I went to. It was divided into three areas. We had the main room where you could study and request albums to be played. Then there were private listening booths where you could borrow a CD and play it on your own. And the best part about the lounge was the darkened room full of bean bags where you could relax and listen to music. In the early 90's the Music Listening Lounge was switching over from vinyl to CDs and I bought a ton of records from there for about $1 each or something. Well, the point is, this place reminds me of the Music Listening Lounge, and I just thought I'd suggest we call "The Record Shop" forum the "Music Listening Lounge", to avoid potential confusion between "The Record Shop" and "The Vinyl Society" forums. What do you think?
