New ACDC album anticipation thread
So its official those rockin oldtimers are in the studio making a new album! Thoughts? anyone else excited? I know i am, having practically grown up on thunderstruck.

HIGHWAY TO HELL!!! to be honest.... not too excited. BUT, I do have fond memories of playing highway to hell backwards and hearing "there's nothing wrong with satan" late one night with a friend of mine. It's true!

I'm ready for some fresh tracks~! The way i figure it, AC/DC has been making the same album for nearly 35 years. This might as well be the 4th reincarnation or lifestage: 1) Bon Scott era 2) Brian Johnson 3) Razor's Edge, and now 8 years since the last album, the new era which future geologists may later name. If they come to my local club, i'll be there to see em!

Club would be good but somehow i think local stadium will be how it is. The way i figure it, AC/DC has been making the same album for nearly 35 years Saw a dvd of them and Angus said "people keep saying weve made the same album 11 times. Well actually theyre wrong, its 12 times!" :D

Hah! They were also "in the studio" in 2006. I'm not getting my hopes up but maaaaaaan I'd love another album. Chances are it would probably suck but TOUR!

Just read somewhere that the new album will be called "Black Ice" and released in October. Look for the new single "Rock n Roll (somthin)" August 28th... oh here we go: http://consequenceofsound.net/2008/08/18/acdc-reveal-tracklist-cover-art-online-release/ it was "Rock n Roll TRAIN"! along with (go ahead, countem') THREE other songs with the words "Rock n Roll" in the title. The word "Jack" gets brought back. And this might be their last album since they've now run out of every way to use rock song cliche in their titles. See ya at WalMart!!
