To be fair, Tsuru, I think I appreciate your pictures more than before. I find them more simple and more pure that you used to take, the last one is particulary beautiful and... simple, I love that kind of view, without effect, just with beautiful colours... If I'm going to Columbous one day, I'd love to exchange vinyls against a bit of your talent! For our summer trip, we're gonna borrow a Lumix DLC-LX1, do you think it's good? I'm dying to buy another camera in the US (as you know, we're rich with our euros!!) but I don't know if I'll be able to use a reflex... I want to begin the photography as we're going to live in the "new continent"...

First, thanks for the kind words. My photography is become more and more just whatever I see and feel the need to capture. ;) You can't go wrong with those lumix lenses, from what I understand! If you can afford it, go with a Digital SLR, they are getting less and less expensive and the control you gain, if only via through the lens, is worth it! Olympus just offering with a 25mm fixed lens (no zoom), small, and pretty inexpensive! fantastic. I almost never use zoom anymore (mine is stuck at 30mm, which is just about perfect for me). :) And isa, I'd love to share vinyl and hunt for more with you! You and Tsurubride can speak french with each other and laugh at me trying to follow along!

I hope so! Nice to put some of a face to the name! Love the camera, makes me think of the old rangefinders from the old days of photography, very very cool! I hope we can get to Montreal soon... it would be until after July, this whole month we are super busy in Columbus, ain't going anywhere. But after that, we'll let you know! My youngest is taking a photography class (she's 9) at camp in the next week or so, so expect pictures posted here from that..... But that reminds me, we need to get some more names to faces over in the picture thread! Who the hell are all of you!! haha!

Hi! We arrived in Montreal on saturday, we went for a little trip in Maine yesterday, that was fantastic!! (even if I'm still sick and we don't know if we could continue our travel) Just a few pictures, they are not amazing but I'm trying to know how mt new camera works! and just for fun :lol: :
