Top Ten albums of the year ... so far?
Should we attempt a list of the Top 10 so far? Mine are in no particular order & subject to change: Cloud Cult - Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-Partying Through Tornadoes) R.E.M. - Accelerate Plants & Animals - Parc Avenue Frightened Rabbit - Midnight Organ Fight Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours Los Campesinos! - Hold on Now…Youngster The Gutter Twins - Saturnalia My Morning Jacket - Evil Urges Wolf Parade - At Mount Zoomer Radiohead - In Rainbows Wow this is not easy. So many good albums this year and we're not even half through yet. I'd like to get Elbow, Black Mountain, maybe Mates of State, and so many others in there, I'll work on it more over the weekend. What does your list look like so far?

Yeah i agree This is going to take a long time 8) I keep finding ones I'd like to include, like Thao Nguyen, Vivian Grils, Basia Bulat .... so much good music!

yeah good list ... i was just thinking about Jack White since they are streaming live from Bonnaroo ... and the Mars Volta LP kicks ass, Portishead of course ... and nice choice with the Audreys!

On the subject of Jack White - How is the white stripes last album pronounced? Is it icky or eccy thump? Also, kind of hard to miss the Audreys over here!

Right now, Islands & Wolf Parade are fighting for #1. I love both albums so much!

You know... I've gone back and forth, I really can't choose between Wolf Parade & Islands for AOTY. They are similar yet soooo different.
