Vinyl Society Mixtape Vol. I
So, as you know, I'm not just about vinyl, I'm also all about my mixtapes. My lovely and I are working on a new one to get up and going soon, but I got to thinking after talking to Story about a new mixtape, but one where we, the club members, put one together.... Here's how it works, we start off with a theme, then we all submit a song (please upload the mp3). Then after we have about 80min or so of music, we set up a mixtape. Then, I upload it to my server and post it on TSURURADIO. Fun, eh? So, let's give it a go shall we? Vinyl Society Mixtape Vol. I Theme: Songs From Love Gone, But Not Completely Forgotten Description: We've all had loved and lost, and though we probably don't miss the person we were with, they may have left something more valuable behind. A song... Or maybe it's a song that reminds you of that person (in a good way or bad way), either way, let it out, let it go, and post it here for mixtape consideration. What do you think? Bad theme? Good theme? Shall we get it going? 8)

Here's one from way back, for me. A band called Knapsack. I just revisited this album recently and was amazed at how specific it was to a time (sr. year of high school) and a few places (various around my hometown), in my head. And it all goes back to, not my first girlfriend, but the first one I thought was "the one." You know? Knapsack - Katherine the Grateful
