your music?
curious if any if you guys record your own music? it's a hobby for me, just wondering what you use, if you do. i've got a mac setup using garageband & logic. used n-tracks before, which is great for a pc setup.

Record onto my laptop using Ableton Live, but my mic input is broken right now, I'm looking into getting a USB soundcard but procrastinating as usual.

My daughter records, real old school, records directly into a digital 8 track, usually in my kitchen when she visits. :D

that's awesome. i would've killed for something like that as a kid. (in grumpy old man voice) "back in my day, we recorded to a 4 track cassette machine, AND WE LIKED IT!" not really, it was all that was available.

haha! I got her a casetter 4 track first, and waited to see if she'd use it, then I got her a digital one, very similar, but digital. Then I got her a ipod voice recorder so she can do "insta-demos". All in all, not bad! Her songs on her myspace are pretty cool.

yeah- mainly i just stick my boy in front of the mac mic and let the garageband record. then make somethin out of it later. otherwise, i do whatever flounder1 does.
